That's a shame. I should have gone on that LDS trip a couple years
ago. The radiation waiver was interesting, as were their peculiar
dive computer restrictions - I believe all three of my computers were
disallowed for one reason or another - but it was the flight there
that worried me the most.
I keep thinking about going back. This news reduces that probability.

Key West Scuba Diving Report
Stayed downtown at the Hyatt Key West. Very nice resort and very close
to duval st. and all the marinas. Went diving with the dive shop
located at the Hyatt. Southpoint Divers had a great boat. It was the
nicest me and my husband have ever been on. We did an afternoon reef

For the vast majority of people that I've encountered, 4 full days is
more than enough.
I'd say about 75% of my students become *very* competent divers after
a 4 day course, with very good buoyancy skills (they may not have the

Well, as I said in another post, I'd normally not recommend 4 days. But it
is doable. And if you only have 4 days, then Roatan is the place . . .
assuming the weather co-operates.

I'm sorry you only have 4 days. Normally, I wouldn't be an advocate for
that short a training period. Regardless, it can be done and doing it is so
much better than not doing it.
